How do I apply for membership?
Complete a membership application form (MS Word) or membership application (PDF) and return it to Alisa Abdullaeva at: alisa@russianamericanchamber.com or by faxing it to: 678.559.0418 or by mailing it to: 970 Sidney Marcus Blvd., Suite 1504, Atlanta, GA 30324.

How long does the process take?
Once all application materials are received, they are reviewed by the membership committee. The committee, comprised of three board members, will take approximately one week to review the materials and to make its decision. Once the application has been approved, the new member will receive a Welcome Package that includes membership confirmation.

How do we pay our membership fees?
Fees may be paid by check or by charging to a credit card. Credit card payment can be made either at the Russian-American Chamber office or by faxing/sending a completed signature-on-file form to Russian-American Chamber at 678-559-0418.

Once we‘re members, how many employees can take part in the Chamber activities?
Your company may designate one representative who will receive all Chamber information and be our contact at your company. If your company has more than one employee who would like to participate on a regular basis in our committee meetings and other events only open to Chamber members, the employee may join as an Additional Corporate Member for only $500.

Goals for the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce

1. On a local level:

· to assist Russian-speaking business owners in Atlanta and the State of Georgia in general to have access to American markets and to effectively advertise their products or services;

· to assist members in discovering financial support programs available to them, either from government or other organizations (grants, loan programs, legal assistance, etc.), in order to facilitate business growth;

· to assist American businesses, governmental and non-profit organizations, and also local businesses owned by other ethnic groups in obtaining access to Russian-speaking businesses and customers located in the State of Georgia and across the USA, advertising their products or services, disseminating public information, or conducting their charitable activities.

2. On a nationwide level:

· to facilitate mutual cooperation among Russian-speaking businesses, as well as those businesses that are interested in working with the Russian-speaking community throughout the United States;

· to assist in the formation of productive cross-cultural business relationships;

· to cooperate with Consulates and Embassies and Foreign Mission Offices of governmental organizations (such as the Russian Federation Embassy, the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, UN Missions, etc.) and to provide the members of the Chamber with access to resources that are available to assist in educational, cultural and technical cooperation.

3. On an international level:

· to develop the opportunities for the international cooperation between Russian and non-Russian businesses and organizations all over the world;

· to assist the investors from different countries in doing business with former Soviet countries and in investing in different projects in these countries, either for-profit or non -profit;

· to work with the governments of the countries where our Members conduct business to ensure the security and profitability of their business ventures;

· to cooperate with commercial departments of international organizations (such as the UNO, the European Union, the Council of Europe, etc.) and to provide the members of the Chamber with the access to the resources that are available to assist in international trade.
