The Second National Oil and Gas Forum takes place in Moscow on 22-24 October 2014. The Forum is a federal event organised by the Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation in cooperation with the leading business and industry associations: Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russian Federation, the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia, and the Russian Gas Society. Russian-American Chamber of Commerce in the USA is the offical sole US partner of the Forum.
Following are the key topics that will be discussed at the second National Oil and Gas Forum: New global energy challenges; Prospective Oil and gas centers and commodity markets; Forecasting of global prices for hydrocarbons; Innovations in oil and gas sector; Development of transport infrastructure and industrial engineering; Environmental standards and industrial safety in the energy sector; Oil and gas industry investment promotion; Pricing mechanism on the energy market.
The annual National Oil and Gas Forum is an important discussion platform in Russia. The Forum enables an open dialogue between key institutions of the energy governance, business community and independent experts, and promotes new development scenarios for the oil and gas industry that are based on the industrial modernization and resource-based innovation. The National Oil and Gas Forum takes place under the auspices of the Russian Business Week – a key event to discuss the most recent economic issues and to shape cooperation between government institutions and business community. For information: In 2013, more than 140 speakers and 700 delegates attended the National Oil and Gas Forum. 125 journalists from 70 Russian and foreign media provided media coverage for the event. Organisation and content of the event were highly praised by the leading industry experts. Outcomes of the conference sessions have been submitted by the Organising Committee of the Forum to the relevant authorities.
