Internship Opportunities

The Russian-American Chamber of Commerce in the USA regularly offers internship opportunities within its Administration, PR & Corporate Communications, Consulting, Marketing, and Membership & Events Departments.

Preferred fields of study are business administration, international affairs, political science, event management, public relations, Russian and American related subjects.

The Russian-American Chamber of Commerce in the USA prefers interns to stay a minimum of 3 months. Most interns stay more than 5 months.

Who Qualifies

College students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at the junior/senior level, a graduate program, or post-graduate students looking for the relevant experience.

Qualifying students must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, English and Russian languages proficiency is a plus, strong computer research skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and have strong organizational and time management skills.

Internship Application Form (Word)

Internship applications are considered throughout the year on a rolling basis based on the Chamber’s needs at the moment. All applications will be reviewed and considered carefully. However, due to a high number of applications, the Chamber will contact only those candidates that it finds relevant for its ongoing needs.When to Apply

Compensation

All internships are unpaid. However, all interns will have an opportunity to gain some commissions based on attracting new members, sponsors, and other commission-based projects.

Current Open Positions

1) Web-designer
Duties: Assist the Chamber in improving the website, as well as other Chamber-related information portals.
Time: Part/Full-Time (at least, 15 hours/week)

2) Graphic-designer
Duties: Assist the Chamber in the design of newsletters, brochures, and other printing materials
Requirements: Currently pursuing a relevant degree in graphic design and a prior experience in a graphic design. Russian language is a plus.
Time: Part/Full-Time (at least, 15 hours/week)

3) IT Assistant
Duties: Assist the Chamber’s Head of the IT department in improving its website’s rating and performance. Posting news and events on the website, banners, and adding new members on the website.
Requirements: Prior experience in IT, programming. Russian language is strongly desired.
Time: Part/Full-Time (at least, 15-20 hours/week)
