The Russian American Chamber of Commerce in the USA was established in May, 2006 under the direction of the International Leadership Council (ILC), an organization comprised of international business organization leaders, in order to promote market access for U.S. companies in the Russian Federation and CIS countries.
The Chamber, headquartered in Atlanta and with a representative office in New York City, is one of the most integrated market information centers for U.S. companies pursuing business development in the CIS countries—some of the world's most promising newly emerging market economies. A critical feature of the Chamber is its ability to bring buyers and sellers together to facilitate successful transactions—a proccess which has resulted in more than $500 million worth of U.S. exports and overseas business activities since 2006.
